So, this watch over here —> it is a friend from high school’s company. She is awesome, and always has been. So her idea for a watch being awesome does not surprise me at all.
The more I think about this watch, the more I want it. Especially that safety feature. Single button immediate SOS. I’m not quite ready to get my girls a phone just because they are starting to venture outside the nest a little more. But strapping a watch to their arm that would signal me if something went wrong? Sign me up.
And I realize that isn’t the point of the watch. There are so many cool features on it that would be so useful for my runs and swims, for Stagg’s bike rides… but I keep coming back to the safety feature. It would be great for me to wear on early morning runs, and then to give to Stagg for his early morning bike rides. But having something that means my girls needed to do let me know they were in trouble is to push a single button?
Yeah, I’ve backed ‘em. Have you?
