Stagg signed up to do the 25th anniversary ride of the charity ride he did with his fraternity 15 years ago. At the beginning of August, he, and a bunch of other “Pi Alphas” will ride their bikes from Richmond, VA to Washington, DC in 3 days. Since they can’t ride on the highways, it will be 150 miles: a 70 mile day, a 50 mile day and a 30 mile day. And after the rides, they will have some other programming to do so they don’t start causing trouble.
Because of this. Stagg has been riding his bike in the mornings. And the girls have noticed the bike talk, and bike gear and general increased bike-ness that has been around. So they have been wanting to bike more, too.
Currently, they have been on a bike ride with first one, now 2 friends in the neighborhood for over an hour. It is one of the first cool(ish) days in a while, and they are taking full advantage of it.
But I am wondering… how long do I wait before I start to worry about not knowing where they are?
Edited to add: apparently, as long as it takes to ask the question. Luckily, it took one phone call to a neighbor. They “forgot” to text me they’d made a pit stop to play and get some water.
