I can’t find the new shoes I bought for Katie at the beginning of the school year. I spent over $50 on them, so they are nicer than most of my shoes, and I really want to find them.
I mentioned that they are lost to Stagg, and he thought about it for a while and decided, “they are probably somewhere in the house, in the van, in the backyard or at Lisa’s.” Thanks, honey. Seriously? Are you sure you don’t want to change “Lisa’s” to “somewhere else” because that would be just about as helpful.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The shoes have been located. The were in a bag at the bottom of another bag of things that had been left at Lisa’s that Lisa had so kindly cleaned and returned.
