This past weekend, the girls and I went to visit Uncle Timmy. From the moment we arrived, they were completely spoiled. Uncle Timmy bought them pizza and ice cream. He showed them the law school. They got to see cows, deer, horses, ducks and sheep. They got to play with a kitten and have big girls (who Maggie decided she wanted to grow up to be like) pay attention to them. Everyone we saw in town stopped and commented on how cute the girls were.
On top of all this, Uncle Timmy wore his orange Crocs which immediately convinced both Maggie and Katie that he is the coolest person in the world. They girls had the run of his little house on the hill, they played his guitar, played with the rain stick (which made it rain!) and were allowed to touch and play with all the other instruments in the house. In short, Timmy was a major hit.
Then, there was the town fair and many, many rides. It didn’t seem like they could get much happier. So, when we were driving to get something to eat for dinner, it seemed like a no-brainer to ask them who their favorite uncle was. Without hesitation and in perfect unison, the girls were loud and sure when they yelled out, “Uncle JOEY!”
