Morning Person

I just want to document that Katie is an amazingly happy little girl when she wakes up. I often forget about that because her moods tend to turn her back into a three year old so completely in such a short amount of time. But it really is an amazing thing to have her come down the stairs giggling and running up to me to yell “boo!” with a huge grin on her face. She gives amazing hugs and big kisses unprompted and just wants to cuddle for a little while. It is absolutely one of the highlights of my day, and somehow an incredible little surprise every morning.
