What hospitals mean to Maggie

Recently, a friend of a friend went into the hospital to get a pacemaker.  Miss Betty is a very sweet, strong and funny woman in her eighties who Maggie and Katie have met several times.  When I told  Maggie that she was in the hospital last night, I expected that she might be a little upset or concerned.  But she surprised me by getting very excited and smiling.  “Really?” she said, “Did she have a baby?”
