Well, I am a freak of modern medicine. When Katie scratched my cornea last May, the doctors commented that I was journal article worthy because it was so unusual to have the same cornea scratched twice. Especially by your own children.
Guess what Katie did today? Yup, I’m on my 3rd scratched cornea in under 3 years. The funniest part (to me) is that I can see the evolution of changes in medical treatment over the years in regards to how they treat this type of injury. I really could live without finding out where the protocols go from here.
