Clean Up

At dinner tonight, Katie spent minutes painstakingly sweeping a bit of grated cheese from the table into her outstretched hand.  She made sure that she positioned her hand perfectly, just a little under the edge of the table so that nothing would miss.  She checked the curve of her palm and fingers to make sure it looked just right.  She checked and double checked the table to make sure she didn’t miss a single spot of cheese.  She got it all transferred to her hand and was very proud of herself.

Then, she turned her hand over and dumped it all on the floor.
